Cofounder and Product Designer | 2013-2015 | TableServ is a startup I cofounded that was acquired in 2016. Years ahead of its time, TableServ was designed to be a decentralized hospitality POS system, providing BOH/FOH staff and their guests a modernized dining experience.
TableServ was an ecosystem of applications, designed to improve the dining experience for all parties involved. A lightweight mobile app gave guests digital ordering features at their fingertips. Mobile/Tablet apps for FOH employees streamlined the processes of fulfilling a guest's order, answering questions, communicating with BOH staff, and accepting payment. Kitchen/bar staff benefited from tablet and TV applications that improved order delivery speed and accuracy.
I designed branded and white labeled mobile apps for restaurants, hotels, and catering operators. Guests who downloaded the app benefited from features like menu item details, direct chat with staff, order status updates, and touch-less payments.
I designed tablet and TV apps for kitchen/bar staff to manage customer orders. These apps gave BOH staff advanced features such as order visualization, order times, order status updates, instant recipe insights, and direct chat with FOH staff.
Low fidelity wireframes were created and tested with a group of target users. High fidelity wireframes were shared with developers for assessing feasibility and development timelines.
I created captivating visuals to communicate the vision and services provided by TableServ. The branding was bold, dynamic, and clear. Graphics were created for physical materials such as business collateral, trade shows, catered events, instructional posters, thank you packages, and more.
